Genesta’s Rockwall, Texas office is buzzing with excitement about the company’s recent re-structure. After 11 years with the company, wireless expert Nick Shoemaker has been promoted to head of the networking group. “Nick has a great knowledge of our products and how they work in our customers’ environments. He has developed a mutual respect with each encountered customer, because he always puts their needs first,” network resource Brandon Blacketer explains. “I look forward to Nick’s management and honestly think his dedication is what makes Genesta what it is today.”
During his time with the company, Nick has earned his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Advanced Wireless Field Specialist, CCNA Wireless, Cisco Express Foundation Specialist, Platform Certified – Advanced Data Capture (technical), Motorola Platform Certified – Mobile Computing (technical), and Motorola Platform Certified – Wireless LAN (technical) certifications. Nick is also one of fewer than 200 people who have earned their Cisco Certified Network Professional – Wireless (CCNP-Wireless) certification.
